Stephanie's Story

Stephanie Voigt was a participant of the 2010 trip to Tanzania, and is now a member of the Tanzanian Village Fund. She is in her sophomore year at University of St. Catherine in Minneapolis, MN where she is in the honors program and is pursuing a major in nursing and a minor in family life. During her visit to Mikocheni, Ms. Voigt was significantly impacted by the poverty she experienced. Read more...

Brianna's Story

Brianna Backes is a sophomore at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is majoring in international studies. She was a participant of the 2010 trip to Tanzania, and is now a member of the Tanzanian Village Fund. About Us

The inspiration for our organization, run and directed by young adults, began with Cathedral High School teacher, Mr. Dick McMorrow. In 2007, he traveled to Moshi, Tanzania on the eastern coast of Africa. He returned from his journey inspired and passionate to introduce others to his experience in that marvelous country.
